  • On the day, the interpreter joins on-site or online and supports the full session.
  • Afterward, we remain available for follow-up interpreting or written translation of any notes or decisions.

How to prepare for a successful interpreting session

How far in advance should we book?
For courts, conferences and full-day events, it is best to book several weeks in advance. Simpler phone or video assignments can sometimes be arranged at shorter notice, but more availability means we can match you with the best interpreter for your subject.
Do you charge by the hour or by the day?
It depends on the type and length of assignment. Short appointments are often charged by the hour with a minimum booking, while conferences and full-day events are usually priced per half day or full day. We always confirm this clearly in our quote.
Can one interpreter work all day alone?
For short consecutive interpreting (for example, a one-hour appointment), one interpreter may be sufficient. For longer or more intense assignments – especially simultaneous interpreting – we normally use two interpreters who share the workload and take turns.
Can you guarantee that a court or authority will accept our interpreter?
We select interpreters with strong experience in legal and public-sector settings. However, each court or authority has its own policies, and some may maintain their own accredited lists. We recommend checking local requirements; we are happy to confirm qualifications and references where needed.
Do you also translate documents for the same case or event?
Yes. Many clients ask us to translate contracts, medical reports, agendas, slides or court documents in addition to providing interpreters. We coordinate both written translation and interpreting so terminology stays consistent across everything.
